Privacy statement

When you contact us, you share personal data and often information about your home. Below you can read which data we use, for what purpose, how long we keep it and what your rights are. This English version is a translation; the Dutch privacy statement is the governing text.

Which data

Which personal data we process

We only process data that you give us yourself, by e-mail, by phone or during a conversation.

Data

Name, e-mail address and phone number
The address of the home or project
The content of your message and the documents you send, such as photos, drawings and correspondence from the municipality
For an assignment: the data needed for the quotation, the work and invoicing

Please do not send us data that is not needed for your question, such as a copy of your ID or medical information.

What we use your data for

We do not use your data for purposes other than those listed below, and we do not sell it.

Answering your question and assessing your plan, at your request and with a view to a possible assignment
Preparing a quotation and carrying out an assignment, to perform the agreement with you
Keeping our records, because the law requires us to

We do not make decisions about you based on automated processing.

Retention and sharing

How long we keep data and who we share it with

Retention period

We do not keep your data longer than necessary for the purpose for which you gave it. If a question does not lead to an assignment, we delete your data when it is no longer needed. Data that forms part of our records, such as quotations and invoices, is kept for seven years, because Dutch tax law requires this.

Sharing

We only share your data when this is necessary for your assignment, for example with the municipality for a permit application or with a consultant involved in your project, or when the law requires us to. Our hosting and e-mail providers process data on our behalf.

Cookies and external services

This website sets no cookies

We use no cookies, no analytics tools and no advertising or tracking services.

External services

Font: the font is loaded from this website itself. No request is sent to Google or any other party for it.
Map: the "View on the map" button opens Google Maps. You only go to Google when you click it.
Social media: the links to social media open the website of that platform. The platform's own privacy policy applies there.

Your rights

What you can ask

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or transfer your data, and you can object to its use.

Request or complaint

Send your request to info@amstelada.nl. We respond within one month. To prevent misuse, we may ask you to confirm that the request comes from you.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, please let us know. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

We may change this statement. The date at the top of this page shows when that last happened.
